New Features

The last view when saving a model document is now restored on open. In addition, the notes pane has a "show saved view" button. The saved view of the first notes pane is not shown by default any more.

Tetrahedral symmetry is now supported in the tools panel.

All tools have icons in the tools panel. The tool buttons will shrink to accommodate more tools in the list, up to a minimum, after which the scrollbar will appear.

The "Symmetry" menu has been renamed as the "Tools" menu, and a command to "Show Tools Panel" has been added.

All commands involving the old, hidden symmetry center and symmetry axis have been either removed or re-mapped to the new tools. For convenience, the menu and toolbar commands for icosahedral symmetry, etc. have been retained, but they now interact with the tools panel. For example, the icosahedral symmetry command will apply the last-used icosahedral symmetry tool. If no such tool has been used, it will apply the last-created icosahedral symmetry tool. If no such tool has been created, it will first create the default icosahedral symmetry tool, centered on the origin. All of the relevant tools now have defaults to support this behavior.

Known Bugs

quaternion projections - with the removal of the hidden symmetry axis, it is no longer possible to project a 4D polytope using a quaternion rotation

arbitrary strut lengths - the new strut length panel does not yet support lengths that are not simple powers of tau

H_4 symmetry - you'll probably have trouble if you try to construct a strut between vertices generated by H_4 symmetry.

Zomod import - does anyone still care?
